Silvermetz Real Estate is a licensed real estate brokerage operating in Ohio. We are an independent brokerage and are not affiliated with the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

We collect the following categories of information:
Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
Property preferences, budget, financing status, and other details relevant to a purchase, sale, or lease
Information submitted through contact forms, property inquiry forms, newsletter sign-ups, or in connection with a listing or showing request
Information provided when you become a client, including identification details, financial information relevant to a transaction (e.g., pre-approval letters, proof of funds), and signatures on transaction documents
When you visit our Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
Pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring/exit pages, and click activity
Information collected through cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)
Property and listing information from Multiple Listing Services (MLS) and public property records

Our Site and internal systems may integrate with transaction management software like dotloop (provided by ShowingTime Plus, LLC, a Zillow Group company) through dotloop's Application Programming Interface ("API"). Through this integration, we may send and receive the following types of data ("Transaction Data"):
Names and contact information of transaction participants (buyers, sellers, agents, and other parties to a "loop")
Property addresses and transaction details
Transaction documents, including purchase agreements, disclosures, addenda, and other forms
Electronic signatures and document status/activity history
Communications and notes associated with a transaction
This Transaction Data is used solely to keep transaction records synchronized between our internal systems and the dotloop platform, so that we can manage real estate transactions on behalf of our clients. We do not use Transaction Data obtained through the dotloop API for any purpose other than supporting the transactions to which it relates. We do not use this data to build marketing lists, for research, product development, or to train any artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and we do not sell, license, or share it with any third party other than the transaction participants to whom it relates, except as required to facilitate the transaction (e.g., with a title company or lender, with the relevant party's authorization) or as required by law.
We retain Transaction Data obtained via the transaction management software and API only for as long as necessary to support the transaction and our recordkeeping obligations under applicable real estate law, and we provide the option to delete it thereafter except where longer retention is required by law.
dotloop's own collection and use of information is governed by the ShowingTime+ Privacy Notice, available at https://www.dotloop.com/privacy-policy/, which we encourage you to review.
We use the information we collect to:
Provide brokerage services, including listing, showing, negotiating, and closing real estate transactions
Communicate with you about properties, showings, offers, and transaction status
Prepare, manage, and store transaction documents (including through dotloop)
Maintain client and transaction records as required by Ohio real estate licensing law
Operate, maintain, and improve our Site
Send marketing communications, where you have not opted out (see Section 8)
Comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
Transaction participants and their representatives — e.g., the other party to a transaction, their agent, attorney, lender, or title/escrow company, as necessary to complete a transaction
Service providers — vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as dotloop/ShowingTime+ (transaction management), website hosting providers, email service providers, and IT support, each of whom is authorized to use your information only as needed to provide their services to us
MLS organizations, as required for listing and marketing properties
Regulators and legal authorities, where required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our legal rights
A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, to comply with Ohio real estate recordkeeping requirements and other applicable law, and to resolve disputes. Transaction Data obtained through the dotloop API is subject to the retention limits described in Section 2(d) above.
Marketing communications: You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any such email or by contacting us directly.
Access and correction: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations, by contacting us using the information in Section 1.
State privacy rights: Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to know what information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of certain sharing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information above.
Our Site may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.
